    Non-treated HeLa cells, phosphatase inhibitor treated HeLa cells and λ phosphatase treated HeLa cells were subjected to SDS PAGE followed by western blot with 87648-2-RR (Phospho-PAK4 (Ser474)/PAK5 (Ser602)/PAK6 (Ser560) antibody) at dilution of 1:2000 incubated at room temperature for 1.5 hours. The membrane was stripped and re-blotted with GAPDH (60004-1-Ig) antibody as a loading control.

Background Information

PAK4(p21-activated kinase 4) is also named as KIAA1142. It belongs to the protein kinase superfamily. Phospho-PAK4 (Ser474)/PAK5 (Ser602)/PAK6 (Ser560) refers to the phosphorylated forms of the Group II p21-Activated Kinases (PAKs) at specific serine residues in their kinase activation loops. These phosphorylation events are essential for the catalytic activation of Group II PAKs and serve as definitive markers of their enzymatic activity. (PMID: 17292838)
