Background Information
Zinc finger protein 4 (ZMAT4) is a member of the zinc finger (ZNF) family and has two isoforms. It is normally found in the nucleus and is associated with DNA binding, metal ion binding and zinc ion binding. The copy number variation (CNV) of its depository ZMAT4 has the potential to be used as a diagnostic indicator of hematologic malignancies, either alone or in combination with other markers.
