Background Information
TBC1D10C (also known as Carabin or EPI64C) is a negative regulator of dual signaling pathways. It can inhibit the activity of small GTPase Ras through its N-terminal TBC domain, and also suppress the activity of calcineurin through its C-terminal binding site, thereby simultaneously negatively regulating the two key signaling pathways, Ras-MAPK and Ca²⁺-Calcineurin-NFAT.
