Background Information
TAF9, also named as TAF2G, TAFII31, is a 264 amino acid protein, which belongs to the TAF9 family. TAF9 are involved in transcriptional activation as well as repression of distinct but overlapping sets of genes. TAF9 may have a role in gene regulation associated with apoptosis.
