Background
CTRB1, also known as CTRB, belongs to the serine protease family. CTRB1 is a serine protease digestive enzyme precursor produced largely by the exocrine pancreas and which was associated with a lower risk of pancreatic cancer. CTRB1 expression is enriched in pancreas.
