Background Information
PTPN20B, also named as PTPN20A, belongs to the protein-tyrosine phosphatase family and Non-receptor class subfamily. PTPN20B is a tyrosine-protein phosphatase targeted to sites of actin polymerization in response of varied extracellular stimuli. PTPN20B has tyrosine phosphatase activity towards various tyrosyl phosphorylated substrates. PTPN20B catalyze the reaction: Protein tyrosine phosphate + H2O = protein tyrosine + phosphate. The antibody can recognize the isoform 1,2,7,8,10,11,13,15.
