  • Western Blot (WB) analysis of various lysates using PDZD7 Polyclonal antibody (21084-1-AP)

    WB analysis using 21084-1-AP (same clone as 21084-1-PBS)

    Various lysates were subjected to SDS PAGE followed by western blot with 21084-1-AP (PDZD7 antibody) at dilution of 1:600 incubated at room temperature for 1.5 hours. This data was developed using the same antibody clone with 21084-1-PBS in a different storage buffer formulation.

Background Information

PDZD7, also known as PDZK7, is essential in organizing the USH2 complex at stereocilia ankle links and blocks inhibition of adenylate cyclase activity mediated by ADGRV1. PDZD7 encodes a PDZ domain-containing scaffold protein that is highly expressed in hair cells of the inner ear. PDZD7 is also expressed in the cilia of photoreceptors (PMID: 33530996). Dysfunction or mutations of PDZD7 result in Usher syndrome type 2 (USH2) and Autosomal recessive non-syndromic hearing loss(ARNSHL) (PMID: 29048736, 20440071).
