    WB analysis using 85392-2-RR (same clone as 85392-2-PBS)

    Various lysates were subjected to SDS PAGE followed by western blot with 85392-2-RR (OAS3 antibody) at dilution of 1:2000 incubated at room temperature for 1.5 hours. This data was developed using the same antibody clone with 85392-2-PBS in a different storage buffer formulation.

Background Information

The 2-prime,5-prime oligoadenylate synthetases (OASs), such as OAS3, are interferon-induced proteins characterized by their capacity to catalyze the synthesis of 2-prime,5-prime oligomers of adenosine (2-5As). It is also named as p100 OAS and belongs to the 2-5A synthase family. OAS3 is involved in inhibition of cellular protein synthesis and in viral infection resistance.
