Background Information
Nucleolar protein 10 (NOP10) is a component of the H/ACA small nucleolar ribonucleoprotein (snoRNP) complex and is essential for maintaining telomerase activity and RNA pseudouridylation. NOP10 is abnormally expressed in a variety of cancers such as breast cancer, pancreatic cancer, lung cancer, etc., and high expression is usually associated with poor prognosis(PMID: 33161513; 39538226).
