Background Information
NOM1, also named as C7orf3, belongs to the CWC22 family. NOM1 plays a role in targeting PPP1CA to the nucleolus (Pubmed:17965019). NOM1 is a new member of the MIF4G/MA3 family of proteins and suggest that it may provide an essential function in metazoans (Pubmed:15715967). The antibody recognizes the C-term of NOM1.
