Product Information
KE10199 is a solid phase sandwich Enzyme Linked-Immuno-Sorbent Assay (Sandwich ELISA). The mouse TWEAK R/TNFRSF12 ELISA kit is to be used to detect and quantify protein levels of endogenous mouse TWEAK R/TNFRSF12. The assay recognizes mouse TWEAK R/TNFRSF12. An antibody specific for mouse TWEAK R/TNFRSF12 has been pre-coated onto the microwells. The mouse TWEAK R/TNFRSF12 protein in samples is captured by the coated antibody after incubation. Following extensive washing, another horseradish peroxidase (HRP)-conjugated antibody specific for mouse TWEAK R/TNFRSF12 is added to detect the captured mouse TWEAK R/TNFRSF12 protein. For signal development, followed by Tetramethyl-benzidine (TMB) reagent. Solution containing sulfuric acid is used to stop color development and the color intensity which is proportional to the quantity of bound protein is measurable at 450 nm with the correction wavelength set at 630 nm.

Background Information
Tumor necrosis factor receptor superfamily member 12 (TNFRSF12, also known as TWEAK R) is a type I transmembrane protein and a member of the tumor necrosis factor receptor (TNFR) superfamily. It acts as a receptor for TNFSF12/TWEAK and plays a crucial role in immune system development and function. TNFRSF12 was reported to contribute to microvascular permeability in cerebral ischemia, as well as pathologic angiogenesis in tumors. Additionally, it may also be associated with the progression of fibrotic kidney disease.
