Product Information

KE10195 is a solid phase sandwich Enzyme Linked-Immuno-Sorbent Assay (Sandwich ELISA). The mouse TCB1 ELISA kit is to be used to detect and quantify protein levels of endogenous mouse TCB1. The assay recognizes mouse TCB1. An antibody specific for mouse TCB1 has been pre-coated onto the microwells. The mouse TCB1 protein in samples is captured by the coated antibody after incubation. Following extensive washing, another horseradish peroxidase (HRP)-conjugated antibody specific for mouse TCB1 is added to detect the captured mouse TCB1 protein. For signal development, followed by Tetramethyl-benzidine (TMB) reagent. Solution containing sulfuric acid is used to stop color development and the color intensity which is proportional to the quantity of bound protein is measurable at 450 nm with the correction wavelength set at 630 nm.

Background Information

T-cell receptor beta-1 chain C region (TCB1) is a critical component of the TCR complex, which is essential for T-cell antigen recognition and activation. The TCR complex consists of the highly variable alpha (α) and beta (β) chains, along with invariant CD3 chain molecules. The beta-1 chain C region provides structural stability and is involved in signal transduction upon antigen recognition. This region is crucial for the proper assembly and function of the TCR complex, enabling T cells to recognize and respond to specific antigens presented by major histocompatibility complex (MHC) molecules.
