Product Information
KE10173 is a solid phase sandwich Enzyme Linked-Immuno-Sorbent Assay (Sandwich ELISA). The mouse Cxcl15 ELISA kit is to be used to detect and quantify protein levels of endogenous mouse Cxcl15. The assay recognizes mouse Cxcl15. An antibody specific for mouse Cxcl15 has been pre-coated onto the microwells. The mouse Cxcl15 protein in samples is captured by the coated antibody after incubation. Following extensive washing, another horseradish peroxidase (HRP)-conjugated antibody specific for mouse Cxcl15 is added to detect the captured mouse Cxcl15 protein. For signal development, followed by Tetramethyl-benzidine (TMB) reagent. Solution containing sulfuric acid is used to stop color development and the color intensity which is proportional to the quantity of bound protein is measurable at 450 nm with the correction wavelength set at 630 nm.

Background Information
CXCL15 is a murine chemokine that is not found in humans and for this reason has been poorly researched. CXCL15 is mainly expressed in murine lungs, and to a much lesser extent in the murine digestive tract and urogenital organs. The expression of this chemokine can be increased by chronic hypoxia, as shown by experiments on murine articular chondrocytes, where the overexpression of HIF-2α resulted in an elevated expression of CXCL15.
