Product Information
KE10191 is a solid phase sandwich Enzyme Linked-Immuno-Sorbent Assay (Sandwich ELISA). The mouse CD147 ELISA kit is to be used to detect and quantify protein levels of endogenous mouse CD147. The assay recognizes mouse CD147. An antibody specific for mouse CD147 has been pre-coated onto the microwells. The mouse CD147 protein in samples is captured by the coated antibody after incubation. Following extensive washing, another horseradish peroxidase (HRP)-conjugated antibody specific for mouse CD147 is added to detect the captured mouse CD147 protein. For signal development, followed by Tetramethyl-benzidine (TMB) reagent. Solution containing sulfuric acid is used to stop color development and the color intensity which is proportional to the quantity of bound protein is measurable at 450 nm with the correction wavelength set at 630 nm.

Background Information
CD147 is a transmembrane glycoprotein that belongs to the immunoglobulin superfamily. It plays a crucial role in various physiological and pathological processes, including immune responses, inflammation, and cancer progression. CD147 is a potent inducer of extracellular matrix metalloproteinases (MMPs), which are involved in extracellular matrix remodeling during processes such as wound healing, fibrosis, and cancer metastasis. Additionally, CD147 interacts with multiple partners, including monocarboxylate transporters (MCTs), cyclophilins, and integrins, to regulate metabolic pathways and immune cell activation.
