Background Information

Interleukin-15 (IL-15) is a cytokine that plays a significant role in the immune system, particularly in the development, proliferation, and activation of immune cells such as natural killer (NK) cells, T cells, and B cells. It is a member of the immunoregulatory cytokines family and is predominantly expressed by myeloid cells, among other cell types.
