KE00814 is a solid phase sandwich Enzyme Linked-Immuno-Sorbent Assay (Sandwich ELISA). The human POLR3C ELISA kit is to be used to detect and quantify protein levels of endogenous human POLR3C. The assay recognizes human POLR3C. An antibody specific for human POLR3C has been pre-coated onto the microwells. The human POLR3C protein in samples is captured by the coated antibody after incubation. Following extensive washing, another horseradish peroxidase (HRP)-conjugated antibody specific for human POLR3C is added to detect the captured human POLR3C protein. For signal development, followed by Tetramethyl-benzidine (TMB) reagent. Solution containing sulfuric acid is used to stop color development and the color intensity which is proportional to the quantity of bound protein is measurable at 450 nm with the correction wavelength set at 630 nm.

POLR3C (DNA-directed RNA polymerase III subunit RPC3), also named DNA-directed RNA polymerase III subunit C. Mutations in the POLR3A, POLR3C, POLR3E, and POLR3F subunits are associated with susceptibility to varicella zoster virus-induced encephalitis and pneumonitis.
