Product Information
KE00733 is a solid phase sandwich Enzyme Linked-Immuno-Sorbent Assay (Sandwich ELISA). The human/mouse WASP ELISA kit is to be used to detect and quantify protein levels of endogenous human/mouse WASP. The assay recognizes human/mouse WASP. An antibody specific for human/mouse WASP has been pre-coated onto the microwells. The human/mouse WASP protein in samples is captured by the coated antibody after incubation. Following extensive washing, another horseradish peroxidase (HRP)-conjugated antibody specific for human/mouse WASP is added to detect the captured human/mouse WASP protein. For signal development, followed by Tetramethyl-benzidine (TMB) reagent. Solution containing sulfuric acid is used to stop color development and the color intensity which is proportional to the quantity of bound protein is measurable at 450 nm with the correction wavelength set at 630 nm.

Background Information
WASP (Wiskott-Aldrich Syndrome Protein) is a key regulator of the actin cytoskeleton and plays a crucial role in various cellular processes, including cell movement, signal transduction, and immune response. Essential for binding to the Arp2/3 complex, which promotes actin polymerization.
