Product Information
KE00617 is a solid phase sandwich Enzyme Linked-Immuno-Sorbent Assay (Sandwich ELISA). The human/mouse LMO7 ELISA kit is to be used to detect and quantify protein levels of endogenous human/mouse LMO7. The assay recognizes human/mouse LMO7. An antibody specific for human/mouse LMO7 has been pre-coated onto the microwells. The human/mouse LMO7 protein in samples is captured by the coated antibody after incubation. Following extensive washing, another horseradish peroxidase (HRP)-conjugated antibody specific for human/mouse LMO7 is added to detect the captured human/mouse LMO7 protein. For signal development, followed by Tetramethyl-benzidine (TMB) reagent. Solution containing sulfuric acid is used to stop color development and the color intensity which is proportional to the quantity of bound protein is measurable at 450 nm with the correction wavelength set at 630 nm.

Background Information
LMO7, also known as LOMP, FBX20, belongs to the single Calponin-homology (CH) domain-containing protein family, with a single actin-binding CH domain at the amino terminal end. LMO7 also contains a PDZ domain and a carboxyl-terminal LIM domain, both of which have been described as protein-protein interacting domains. LMO7 is involved in cell adhesion, cytoskeletal organization, and cellular signaling pathways, and dysregulation of LMO7 has been implicated in various malignancies.
