Background
Interleukin 20 receptor subunit alpha (IL20RA) belongs to the type II cytokine receptor family. Upon binding to its ligands, such as interleukin (IL)-19, IL-20, and IL-24, IL20RA can form a functional heterodimeric receptor with IL20RB. IL-26, another IL20RA ligand, requires IL20RA and interleukin 10 receptor subunit beta (IL10RB) for signaling.
