KE00829 is a solid phase sandwich Enzyme Linked-Immuno-Sorbent Assay (Sandwich ELISA). The human IL-10RB ELISA kit is to be used to detect and quantify protein levels of endogenous human IL-10RB. The assay recognizes human IL-10RB. An antibody specific for human IL-10RB has been pre-coated onto the microwells. The human IL-10RB protein in samples is captured by the coated antibody after incubation. Following extensive washing, another horseradish peroxidase (HRP)-conjugated antibody specific for human IL-10RB is added to detect the captured human IL-10RB protein. For signal development, followed by Tetramethyl-benzidine (TMB) reagent. Solution containing sulfuric acid is used to stop color development and the color intensity which is proportional to the quantity of bound protein is measurable at 450 nm with the correction wavelength set at 630 nm.

Background Information
IL-10 signals through a receptor complex consisting of two molecules of the IL-10R alpha-chain (IL-10RA) and two molecules of the accessory IL-10R beta-chain (IL-10RB). This complex mediates the biological effects of IL-10, a cytokine involved in immune regulation. IL-10RB pairs with IL-10RA to form a heterodimeric receptor for IL-10, which is essential for signal transduction via JAK/STAT3 signaling pathways. IL-10RB is involved in the regulation of immune responses, particularly in the context of inflammation and immune cell activation.
