Background
Integrin-binding sialoprotein (IBSP), also known as Bone sialoprotein 2 (BSP2), is a glycoprotein that is mainly expressed in bone tissue. IBSP participates the coding of bone matrix and has a large influence on the formation, update, and repair of bones. High levels of IBSP have been found in various types of cancer, including colorectal cancer breast, esophageal squamous cell carcinoma. IBSP plays a significant role in tumor growth, invasion, and metastasis by promoting angiogenesis, cell migration and adhesion, and immune micro environment.
