Product Information
KE00941 is a solid phase sandwich Enzyme Linked-Immuno-Sorbent Assay (Sandwich ELISA). The human HNRNPR ELISA kit is to be used to detect and quantify protein levels of endogenous human HNRNPR. The assay recognizes human HNRNPR. An antibody specific for human HNRNPR has been pre-coated onto the microwells. The human HNRNPR protein in samples is captured by the coated antibody after incubation. Following extensive washing, another horseradish peroxidase (HRP)-conjugated antibody specific for human HNRNPR is added to detect the captured human HNRNPR protein. For signal development, followed by Tetramethyl-benzidine (TMB) reagent. Solution containing sulfuric acid is used to stop color development and the color intensity which is proportional to the quantity of bound protein is measurable at 450 nm with the correction wavelength set at 630 nm.

Background Information
HNRNPR belongs to Heterogeneous nuclear ribonucleoproteins (hnRNPs), which are among the most abundant proteins in the eukaryotic nucleus and they play important roles in processing of precursor mRNA. hnRNP proteins have a modular structure consisting of one or more RNA binding domains and at least another auxiliary domain, which likely mediates protein-protein interactions but may also contribute to nucleic acid binding.
