Product Information
KE00724 is a solid phase sandwich Enzyme Linked-Immuno-Sorbent Assay (Sandwich ELISA). The human FOXM1 ELISA kit is to be used to detect and quantify protein levels of endogenous human FOXM1. The assay recognizes human FOXM1. An antibody specific for human FOXM1 has been pre-coated onto the microwells. The human FOXM1 protein in samples is captured by the coated antibody after incubation. Following extensive washing, another horseradish peroxidase (HRP)-conjugated antibody specific for human FOXM1 is added to detect the captured human FOXM1 protein. For signal development, followed by Tetramethyl-benzidine (TMB) reagent. Solution containing sulfuric acid is used to stop color development and the color intensity which is proportional to the quantity of bound protein is measurable at 450 nm with the correction wavelength set at 630 nm.

Background Information
FOXM1 (Forkhead Box M1) is a transcription factor that plays crucial roles in cell cycle progression, proliferation, and cancer development. It is highly expressed in various cancers, including breast cancer, lung cancer, and gastric cancer, and is associated with poor prognosis. FOXM1 promotes tumor growth and metastasis by regulating genes involved in cell cycle progression and epithelial-mesenchymal transition. It is also involved in chemoresistance and can be regulated by various signaling pathways, such as Wnt/β-catenin and TGF-β. Additionally, FOXM1 is a potential target for cancer therapy due to its critical role in tumor progression.
