Product Information
KE00632 is a solid phase sandwich Enzyme Linked-Immuno-Sorbent Assay (Sandwich ELISA). The human CD3 Delta ELISA kit is to be used to detect and quantify protein levels of endogenous human CD3 Delta. The assay recognizes human CD3 Delta. An antibody specific for human CD3 Delta has been pre-coated onto the microwells. The human CD3 Delta protein in samples is captured by the coated antibody after incubation. Following extensive washing, another horseradish peroxidase (HRP)-conjugated antibody specific for human CD3 Delta is added to detect the captured human CD3 Delta protein. For signal development, followed by Tetramethyl-benzidine (TMB) reagent. Solution containing sulfuric acid is used to stop color development and the color intensity which is proportional to the quantity of bound protein is measurable at 450 nm with the correction wavelength set at 630 nm.

Background Information
CD3 Delta (CD3D) is a transmembrane protein primarily localized in the cell membrane of T cells. It is a crucial component of the T-cell receptor (TCR) complex, which plays a vital role in the activation of T cells. CD3 Delta is essential for the proper assembly and function of the TCR complex, facilitating the transmission of activation signals into the cytosol upon antigen recognition. Additionally, the TCR complex, including CD3 Delta, is a key target in cancer immunotherapy, where it can be engineered to enhance T-cell recognition and kill cancer cells.
