Background Information
Heat shock factor 2-binding protein (HSF2BP, also known as MEILB2) is a binding protein of HSF2, which is involved in modulating HSF2 activation in testis (PMID: 9651507). Naturally occurring elevated production of HSF2BP in tumors may be a source of cancer-promoting genomic instability and a vulnerable target (PMID: 31960047; 34790765).
