Background Information
ENGASE belongs to the glycosyl hydrolase 85 family. ENGASE releases N-glycans from glycoproteins by cleaving the beta-1,4-glycosidic bond in the N,N'-diacetylchitobiose core. ENASE is involved in the processing of free oligosaccharides in the cytosol. The antibody can recognize all the 3 isoforms of ENGASE.
