Background Information
Double sex and mab-3-related transcription factors (DMRT) like family C2 (DMRTC2), a member of the DMRT family genes, is involved in the regulation of mammalian sex differentiation and the process of spermatogenesis, particularly meiosis (PMID: 32244802). DMRTC2 is expressed in the testis and pancreas. DMRTC2 has 2 isoforms with the molecular mass of 24 and 39 kDa.
