Background Information
CCAR2 also known as DBC1 (Deleted in Breast Cancer 1), KIAA1967, NET35, and p30DBC, is a multifaceted nuclear protein that plays a critical role in various cellular processes, including transcriptional regulation, apoptosis (programmed cell death), DNA damage response, metabolism, and the maintenance of circadian rhythms. The protein is able to bind to RNA polymerase II complexes and exhibits enzyme inhibitor activity.
