Background Information
CYP4F22, also named as FLJ39501 and LI3, belongs to the cytochrome P450 family. Cytochromes P450 are a group of heme-thiolate monooxygenases. Defects in CYP4F22 are the cause of ichthyosis lamellar type 3 (LI3). This antibody is specific to CYP4F22. It has no cross reaction to other CYP4F member.
