    Various lysates were subjected to SDS PAGE followed by western blot with 83801-4-RR (CXCR1 antibody) at dilution of 1:10000 incubated at room temperature for 1.5 hours. This data was developed using the same antibody clone with 83801-4-PBS in a different storage buffer formulation.

Background Information

CXCR1, also named CMKAR1, IL8RA, and CD181, belongs to the G-protein coupled receptor 1 family. It is a receptor to interleukin-8, a powerful neutrophil chemotactic factor. The binding of IL-8 to the receptor causes activation of neutrophils. CXCR1 binds to IL-8 with a high affinity and MGSA (GRO) with a low affinity.
