Background Information
Coiled-coil domain-containing protein 80 (CCDC80) is a member of the coiled-coil domain-containing protein family, which is mainly expressed in vascular smooth muscle cells. It plays an integral role in the regulation of cardiovascular remodeling and homeostasis (PMID: 23831687; 30439364; 27375481). In SDS PAGE, CCDC80 can be detected as double bands (PMID: 40278823; 35843176).
