Background Information
CABP7 belongs to the calmodulin superfamily of proteins and harbors 2 high-affinity EF-hand motifs and a C-terminal transmembrane domain. CABP7 controls cytokinesis by modulating phosphatidylinositol 4-phosphate (PI4P) levels in cells.
