Background Information
PLGRKT functions as a cell-surface receptor for plasminogen (PLG). PLGRKT is involved in regulating monocyte chemotactic migration and matrix metalloproteinase (MMP) activation, including MMP2 and MMP9. It plays critical roles in both the initiation and resolution of inflammation.
