Background Information
PRRC2C encodes a RNA-binding protein that participates in stress granule assembly and is found in the cytosol and cytoplasm. The protein is also detected in cytoplasmic stress granules and membranes, placing it in compartments associated with dynamic post-transcriptional regulation.
