    WB analysis using 17320-1-AP (same clone as 17320-1-PBS)

    Various lysates were subjected to SDS PAGE followed by western blot with 17320-1-AP (ALDH16A1 antibody) at dilution of 1:4000 incubated at room temperature for 1.5 hours. This data was developed using the same antibody clone with 17320-1-PBS in a different storage buffer formulation.

Background Information

ALDH16A1 is a novel member of the ALDH superfamily that is enzymatically-inactive and highly expressed in the kidney. The family members act on aldehyde substrates and use nicotinamide adenine dinucleotide phosphate (NADP) as a cofactor.
