Background
Triggering receptor expressed on myeloid cells-like protein 2 (TREML2) is a cell-surface receptor participating in innate and adaptive immune responses. It functions as a counter-receptor for CD276, and its binding to CD276 on T cells potentiates T-cell activation. Upregulating TREML2 represents a potential novel therapeutic strategy to alleviate doxorubicin resistance in acute myeloid leukemia.
