Product Information
60763-2-PBS targets CD268/BAFF-R as part of a matched antibody pair:
MP51091-1: 60763-1-PBS capture and 60763-2-PBS detection (validated in Cytometric bead array)
MP51091-3: 60763-2-PBS capture and 60763-4-PBS detection (validated in Cytometric bead array)
MP51091-4: 60763-2-PBS capture and 60763-3-PBS detection (validated in Cytometric bead array)
Unconjugated mouse monoclonal antibody pair in PBS only (BSA and azide free) storage buffer at a concentration of 1 mg/mL, ready for conjugation.
This conjugation ready format makes antibodies ideal for use in many applications including: ELISAs, multiplex assays requiring matched pairs, mass cytometry, and multiplex imaging applications.Antibody use should be optimized by the end user for each application and assay.

Background Information
B-cell-activating factor receptor (BAFF-R, also known as CD268 and TNFRSF13C) is a member of the tumor necrosis factor receptor (TNFR) superfamily. It is expressed in most malignant B cells, including those in primary central nervous system lymphoma (PCNSL), and is involved in the survival and proliferation of these cells (PMID: 32528875). The interaction of BAFF with BAFF-R promotes NF-κB activation, which plays a crucial role in B-cell maturation, survival, and costimulation of T-cell activation and proliferation (PMID: 30349534). Additionally, BAFF-R is associated with chronic kidney disease (CKD) by activating NF-κB signaling in renal tubular epithelial cells (PMID: 38791453).
