Background Information

Nuclear receptor binding protein 2(NRBP2), also named as TRG16, belongs to the Ser/Thr protein kinase family. NRBP2 can regulate apoptosis of neural progenitor cells during their differentiation. Expression of NRBP2 was up-regulated following differentiation in rodent neural stem/progenitor cells. It has 4 isoforms with MW of 58, 33, 36 and 14 kDa. Endogenous NRBP2 in HEK293 cells has an apparent molecular mass of 55-60 kD by SDS-PAGE.
