Background Information
FOXO6 is a member of the murine forkhead family of transcription factors. These forkhead transcription factors may play a role in maintenance. FOXO6 mRNA is predominantly expressed in the developing brain, indicating that FOXO6 may play an important role in the nervous system. FOXO6 has a isoform of 70 kDa when modified after translation (PMID:23639108).
